You can easily toss your favorite fruit and herbs into a glass jar or even veggies and herbs! It’s a great way to stay hydrated and we make this regularly, especially during the summer. it’s one of our favorite fruit infused water recipes and more fun than just plain water during the summer.

    WHAT IS INFUSED WATER?

Infused water is water that is infused with fruits, vegetables, and or herbs. You place your desired produce into a glass or pitcher and then fill the container with water to infuse the water with the produce. It also goes by fruit flavored water, detox water, or spa water.

When making infused waters we highly recommend using organic produce whenever possible.

IS DRINKING INFUSED WATER GOOD FOR YOU?

If you’re just adding water and fruit it’s definitely a healthier option than grabbing a sugary drink with syrups and dyes. The best part of our Fruit Salad Infused Water is you get to eat the fruit after you’ve infused the water.

It’s a great way to make a refreshing drink and a healthy snack at the same time. Both kids and adults love this recipe. Infusing water is a great way to drink more water if you don’t like plain water.

HOW LONG DO YOU INFUSE THE WATER?

We recommend infusing for at least 6-8 hours. We’ll typically make it a day in advance by making it the night before we need them.

HOW LONG IS INFUSED WATER GOOD FOR?

We recommend consuming within 1-2 days or the fruit begins to break down and lose flavor.

HOW TO MAKE INFUSED WATER WITH FRUIT SALAD

Start by making a big bowl of fruit salad. You can mix and match your favorite fruits and even add in some basil or mint leaves.

    RECIPE NOTES:

    • Keep this drink refrigerated, do not keep it out at room temperature to infuse.
    • Want to make it sweeter? Add some fresh fruit juice with the water, we recommend juicing some apples, oranges, or watermelon.
    • We used valencia oranges, but you can use your favorite citrus fruits, it helps break down the fruit and add more flavor to the water.
    • Don’t overfill with the fruit or you won’t be able to add a lot of water.
    • Use your favorite fruits – you can even use frozen fruits in this infused water recipe.
    • Frozen grapes or other fruits make great ice cubes without watering down your drink.
