How To Hull Strawberries, easily and quickly!

how to hull a strawberry demonstration with text on image "how to hull strawberries" for pinterest

Quick and easy way to hull strawberries?  YOU GOT IT!  I have done the paring knife, straw, even used my fingers, you name it I’ve tried it. I love using a strawberry huller. Over the summer Whole Foods had an incredible deal on organic strawberries that we couldn’t pass up.  I ended up getting well over $60 worth of strawberries and wanted to freeze most of them.

I didn’t even think of the time and effort of removing the hulls.  It was about 3 packs in where I just wanted to give up and stop hulling because they just wouldn’t come out.  I thought “WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?”  I kept wasting some of the strawberries trying to completely remove the hull along with the stems.  Then I finally realized I should pull the stems and then hull.  So, just in case you’re sitting there hulling endless amounts of strawberries, try this!

    1. PULL OFF STEM

    2. PUSH HULLER INSIDE STRAWBERRY (SEE HOW EASY IT IS?)

    3. YOU’RE DONE!

    Happy Hulling!
