All about Color Rush blueberries, what they taste like, how to store them, how to enjoy them, and more!

    What are Color Rush Blueberries?

ColorRush blueberries are a newer blueberry variety from Naturipe Farms known for their vibrant color, crisp texture, and extra sweet flavor. They come in a small package with beautiful, vibrant colors like yellow, green, pink, and even a beautiful fuchsia. Our packages were mostly green with a bit of fuchsia and slight pink.

While some are calling them pink blueberries, I tend to think this may be a bit of it’s own thing. Pink blueberries get deep pink, and these are sweet when green. We absolutely love them!

What do Color Rush Blueberries Taste Like?

Color Rush blueberries are noticeably sweeter than many regular blueberries and have a crisp, almost snappy texture when you bite into them. They’re juicy, flavorful, and less soft or mushy than traditional blueberries.

The flavor is very balanced with a rich blueberry taste and subtle floral sweetness. They honestly remind me of the kind of blueberries you hope for every time you buy a carton. I haven’t tasted one that was sour, but my husband said he got ONE out of the 4 packages we bought.

    Color Rush Blueberry Benefits

Blueberries are rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C and are a good source of fiber.

They’re also naturally low in calories and make an easy snack to keep on hand in the fridge.

When are ColorRush Blueberries in Season?

ColorRush blueberries are typically available during peak blueberry season, which runs from late spring through summer depending on growing regions and availability.

Because they’re a specialty variety, they may not be available year-round in all stores.

How to Store Color Rush Blueberries

Store blueberries in the refrigerator and avoid washing them until you’re ready to eat them.

For the best texture and freshness, keep them dry and store them in their original container or a breathable container lined with paper towels.
