Make our kid-friendly Apple Carrot Juice with freshly picked apples and carrots for a naturally sweet and delicious drink the whole family will love!

We love making homemade apple cider and it’s so easy to make in our juicer. We also love juicing our carrots with apples to make a delicious apple carrot juice!
What we love about using a juicer and making your own juices is you can add more or less of what you prefer. Like apples more? Add more apples! Want more veggies? Add in some kale, spinach, celery, or even beets! Another great addition would be ginger and citrus for a whole different juice experience.
This Apple Carrot juice is a simple and refreshing recipe the whole family will enjoy.
When I was researching which juicer to buy it had to hit every need for our family. That’s when I found Nama. I invested in the J2 and have loved using it for a little over a year now. This year I am happy to say I became a Nama Affiliate! CLICK HERE to purchase our juicer or use code Courtney10 at checkout.

Apple Carrot Juice ingredients
- Apples: Choose any variety of your preference for a balance of sweetness and tartness. Options include Fuji, Honeycrisp, Gala, or Granny Smith.
- Carrots: Fresh, firm carrots for optimal juicing. We do not recommend using store prepped, use fresh prepped for best flavor.

How to Make Apple and Carrot Juice
- Wash the apples thoroughly, removing any dirt or debris.
- Remove the cores from the apples by slicing them or using an apple corer, but leave the skin intact.
- Wash and peel the carrots to remove any outer dirt or imperfections.
- Feed the apples and peeled carrots into a cold press (masticating) juicer, alternating between the two to mix the flavors.
- Once all the apples and carrots have been juiced, stir the juice to ensure an even blend.
- Pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Recipe Tips and Notes:
- For a sweeter juice, opt for Fuji or Gala apples. For a more tart flavor, Granny Smith apples work well. We used a mix of Rose apples and Zestar apples. See Types of Apples – Most Common Apple Varieties for more options!
- If you don’t have a cold press juicer, a centrifugal juicer will work, but it will not have as much nutrients as a masticating juicer.
- Drink the juice fresh to retain its nutrients! If needed, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 72 hours.
- We do not recommend using baby carrots, shreds, or coins.
