Quick and Easy Mini Stuffed Mushroom Pizza Recipe
Our Italian essentials include basil, garlic, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and a good pasta sauce readily available. We recently tried Bertolli’s Riserva line and it’s perfection. Bertolli Riserva Marina with Parmigiano-Reggiano has robust flavor with chunks of tomatoes and garlic. It tastes and looks just like a sauce grandma had simmering away on the stove all day.
It’s been a pretty hard week this week for us and despite our sadness and personal upset, we made it a point to come together for our family meals. Family meals are the heartbeat of our home. Meals can help a family to connect and just unwind. We allow ourselves to just completely let loose and come together. There’s nothing better than family and we’re even more aware of this after the week we’ve had.
This life experience that we have just had has rocked our world. It’s something we wouldn’t wish on anyone. I’m trying to push rewind, but unfortunately, it feels as if we’re stuck in pause. I slowly pushed play today and made a beautiful meal for my family using Bertolli Riserva Marina with Parmigiano-Reggiano. I stuffed mushrooms, made chicken parmesan, and a huge bowl of zoodles.
We laughed and talked about happy memories. Family is an incredible blessing from God, without it you will be incomplete, at least we would. Family can help you through the toughest storms and weather it with you. We’re thankful for our family meals, and slowing down to enjoy each other’s company. He opened a small store front and began selling foods like olive oil, wine, olives and cheese. It was in the late 1800s that Italian immigrants in America were looking for those staples they loved. Bertolli would actually send over orders to them. Today, more than 150 years since Francesco Bertolli began selling his olive oil in Lucca, Italy, the original “Villa Bertolli” at piazza S. Donato still stands – just as Bertolli remains at the heart of the Italian-inspired cuisine enjoyed at home by millions of families around the world. Mini Stuffed Mushroom Pizza Recipe
- 1 1/2 Cup Bertolli Riserva Marina with Parmigiano-Reggiano
- 1 Container Mini Portobella Mushrooms
- 1/8 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- 3 Basil leaves lightly ripped apart
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a small oven safe dish place a bit of the sauce on the bottom.
- Clean out and remove stems from mushrooms.
- Fill mushrooms with sauce and parmesan cheese.
- Top mushrooms with mozzarella and basil.
- Bake for 15 minutes covered and 5 minutes uncovered.
- Serve warm.
