Ingredients

  • 1 cantaloupe

Instructions

  • Start by washing your cantaloupe.
  • Make sure you are using a sturdy cutting board and a sharp knife. Now you can slice off the top and the bottom of the melon to create a base.
  • Stand the cantaloupe up and then cut the rind off the sides of the melon, getting as close as you can so you do not waste much of the melon.
  • Keep cutting until all of the cantaloupe┬árind is removed. Then you can cut the cantaloupe in half.
  • Scoop out all the seeds from both sides of the cantaloupe.
  • Slice into wedges or chunks.
  • Once the melon is cut you can enjoy right away or store in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.

Notes

Can't eat all the melon quickly? Freeze it for later, it will have a slight texture change, but still delicious.
