Raspberry Cookies

Raspberry Cookies make for a fun kid-friendly activity in the kitchen. This recipe uses powdered Natural Food Coloring. Add in chocolate chips to make white chocolate raspberry cookies or chocolate raspberry cookies too!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry preserves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon raspberry extract
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon natural food coloring powdered

*optional white chocolate chips or chocolate chips

    Instructions

    • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F
    • Mix together the dry ingredients with a spoon in a mixer mixing bowl, then add the remaining ingredients.
    • Once all combined it should form a dough, about 1-2 minutes.
    • Take a small cookie scoop and place onto cookie sheet.
    • Once you have all cookie dough on the cookie press them down so that they're flat.
    • Bake for 8-10 minutes until slightly browned on edges.
    • Allow cookies to cool on wire rack before filling.
