Lime Zest
Maple Syrup
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350
In a mixer combine all the wet ingredients. Mix until creamed together.
Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Combine with the wet ingredients.
Pour into a loaf pain that is greased and floured.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Take cake out of loaf pan and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Preheat your grill or grill pan for the pineapple.
Core or slice your pineapple however you'd like for serving.
Drain on a paper towel so you can ensure they dry for better grill marks.
Place directly on the grill and cook each side for about 3-5 minutes.
Place pineapple on top of slices of pound cake and top with vanilla, lime zest, and a little drizzle of maple syrup.
