Each summer we go to so many BBQ parties, so many that there’s just too many to count. I usually bring a huge fruit salad or veggie platter. However my platters are not the only ones and then there’s an abundance of produce! Not a bad thing at all, but how much can the host put in the fridge once we leave? I’ve come up with new fun ways to give fresh and fun gifts for Summer BBQ hosts and giving items that they can use for years is my favorite.
I love the Wooden Spurtles from Polder’s Old World Market. My favorite Spurtle is the Turned Scottish Spurtle. It’s perfect for summer drinks! It mixes them perfectly and you can even smash your berries, peaches, or citrus in your drinks right in the pitcher. Plus if you buy a pretty pitcher, some organic lemons, organic strawberries, you can give the most unique host gift. They can cherish it forever, I know I would. This is just a fun way to show the host you care. It’s pretty, simple, and not too much money either.
