This Fruit Salsa recipe has no added sugar and tons of flavor. Serve with cinnamon pita chips for a sweet appetizer.

Fresh Fruit Salsa Recipe

Every fruit salsa recipe you see these days has either sugar or honey. No matter which you use, you’re still adding sugar. While we love natural sweeteners we think that they can step aside when it comes to a our fruit salsa recipe. Why is that? We love to use fresh fruit produce that has it’s own sweetness! Plus most of the time you’ll be plopping it on something like cinnamon sugar tortilla chips — no?

Our fruit salsa is definitely sweet. You get the sweetness from the mango, oranges, strawberries and pineapple. Make sure that you’re fruit is sweet and your fruit salsa recipe will be sweet too! Fruits have their own natural sugar and a lot at that! We use fruit to sweeten smoothies, juices and more. There’s really no reason to add sugar to an already sweet ingredient. Growing up our grandparents actually put salt on melons!

We definitely think you’ll enjoy our fruit salsa recipe and can’t wait to hear your thoughts. The colors are beautiful and if you wanted an extra pop of color you could even add in a little bit of chopped mint, which would also had a brighter flavor.

We like to allow the flavors to combine and let it sit in the fridge for a bit. I will admit this is the hardest part, we often break and devour it right away. This is great on it’s own, served with yogurt, sweet chips, with breakfast or even on pancakes! We’ve warmed it up and served over pancakes many times. There’s really no wrong way to enjoy this delicious fruit salsa recipe!
